Phone sign-in for editors

One short setup. After this, only people with the code in Google Authenticator can save changes to your menu on the server.

Before you start

Open this page on your computer (not the lobby TV). The address must start with http:// or https:// — not a file on your desktop.
If you created a server password file (data/tvm-save-secret.txt or data/.tvm-save-secret), have that password ready to paste below. If you never set one up, leave the box empty.
Install Google Authenticator on the phone(s) that should be allowed to edit (yours and the owner’s). You’ll scan a QR code in the next step.

Create the QR code

Pick a short name so you recognize this account in the app (for example your restaurant name).

Server password (only if you use tvm-save-secret)

Same text as in server-config.js → saveSecret. Skip if you never added a server password.

Lost a phone or replacing keys?

Check the box below, then click the button. Everyone must scan the new QR. You need either your server password or a browser that’s still signed in as an editor.
